Vic and Alex have made it easy for me to get back in to exercise. The bonus is having your baby in earshot and knowing that they are safely being looked after whilst you work out. By the time my bub could crawl, it was otherwise hard to take him to classes. Not with babyfitter! The exercises have been postpartum friendly while also allowing me to level up when I want. I recommend babyfitter to all parents with young kids in their care.
Dani is an absolutely wonderful sitter. I felt so comfortable with her as soon as I met her, and Jacob is obsessed and has the best time with her! I can hear them giggling and having fun while I’m working out which leaves me completely distraction free to focus on my workout, and even better Jacob has fallen asleep straight away in the car after the last 2 sessions with her. also love working out with Alex, she’s taken the time to get to know me and knows what level I’m at and which weights I will find challenging. She makes our sessions fun, I like the variety and structure, and I always look forward to coming.
Babyfitter have been training me (and nannying my children) since the birth of my daughter a year ago, and they also helped me to prepare for my recent wedding. Their workouts and overall motivation helped me feel amazing on the big day! Once I’d received the go ahead from my physio after giving birth my trainer and I worked on rebuilding my fitness. She was aware of my background in CrossFit and knew my health goals, so she really helped me to strengthen my body from the inside out to help me safely return to lifting weights and doing workouts I truly enjoy. It’s been an incredibly busy year, with Covid as well, but I always appreciate Vic’s flexibility and understanding of my priorities, and her willingness to work around me.
Victoria’s constant motivational energy, her patience, and her sense of humour, was just what I needed. And now my husband trains with her too and loves it. Having the babyfitter there to watch the kids play on the playground means I can really relax and focus on my exercise sessions, instead of having to stop every 5 minutes to attend to a kid. And the kids love having a new friend to play with! It is also great to see my kids build a new relationship with a trusted adult, especially after these long isolating lockdowns.
After having two babies close in age, I found myself overwhelmed within the world of parenthood and ended up putting myself (and in particular- my fitness) as last priority. That all changed when I started training face to face with Babyfitter each week, and my trainer would send me home with easy workouts to do in front of the TV in the evenings. I ended up losing just over 10kgs within 3 months before the pandemic hit. And I was still enjoying all the foods I had before (pasta, wine, and chocolate) with just small alterations to reduce my sugar intake. I can’t remember ever feeling that good before- so strong and energetic!
